Our thoughts are with the industry as we all adjust to the new normal. The Covid-19 event has caused us to rethink how we run businesses safely and efficiently. Updates from Patio & Hearth Products Report are a great way for companies to bond together, rooting for the continued success of all. Safety is paramount for our employees, our customers and all the outdoor enthusiasts who purchase our products.

We assessed the restaurant worker’s difficult situation and have donated 2,000 masks in Dallas, where our corporate offices are located, and in my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. Savor Pittsburgh, a renowned food festival and contest, and Staff Meals Dallas have distributed these to restaurant employees to keep them safe while working. The Dallas foundation is doing an amazing service by providing thousands of meals each week to furloughed restaurant staff.

With own employees, every Monday, we host a Zoom check-in call to discuss the upcoming week. These visual calls give all a chance to connect, encouraging an exchange of ideas that is more vibrant than on traditional conference calls. We are also using this time to schedule virtual trainings and sales contests with distributors and sales reps to keep them engaged and informed.

Coyote Outdoor remains committed to being available to our customers. Our service and parts division as well as our sales department remains open and ready to answer all calls. We can be reached Monday -Friday at 855-520-1559 from 8 am – 4 pm CST. You can also email us at support@coyoteoutdoor.com

During this time, we are finding inspiring new ways to engage with people in their new ‘stay at home’ circumstances. We have a Coyote Outdoor editorial style newsletter that covers product introductions, trends and a ‘Dealer’s Den’ where we feature different businesses. As always, The Coyote blog offers lifestyle, educational, celebrity chef recipes and influencer design tips.

Social Media has been a bridge to those at home who seek adventure and are dreaming about sports seasons and future travel. Coyote created a series on Instagram showing how the ultimate staycation can take place in our own backyard! These virtual road trips included enjoying BBQ ribs in St. Louis, deep dish pizza in Chicago and salmon paired with wine in California. These posts included ambience suggestions for your outdoor space. #CoyoteBackyardRoadtrip

For sports enthusiasts, we have created a #homegating theme with Bo Jackson who has partnered with Coyote Outdoor on a Signature Portable Gas Grill. Arguably, the greatest athlete of all time, Bo will be hosting grilling contests and giveaways throughout the season. Though you may not be at the game, you can make Sunday gameday in your own backyard. Let us entertain you on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest @CoyoteOutdoor.

There is one constant right now and that is to be with family and enjoy your outdoor space. We continue to be committed to creating innovative products and the Coyote next generation pellet grill is a perfect option for the environmentally conscious with the Smart drop™ pellet feed. Because it functions like a luxury indoor appliance, families can take part in the process of preparing a meal whether it be grilling, searing, smoking or even baking cookies! This is just the sort of outdoor cooking experience we need right now!
