Based out of Pittsburgh, PA., Don’s Appliances is a family-owned, independent appliance retailer. Originally founded in 1971, Don’s Appliances has expanded to 10 locations selling, delivering, installing and servicing all major appliance brands. They are known for exceptional sales, service and customer satisfaction.
Coyote is honored to be included in the product offerings at Don’s Appliances. Recently, we asked questions about the mission and background of the company.
|
|
1. What makes Don Appliances unique?
We are large enough to offer competitive pricing, yet small enough to continue offering the “white glove” service we were founded on, our focus is always ion the customer experience, from the first step into a showroom to purchase and after our product has been installed.
2. To what do you attribute your growth with 10 locations now?
We have always been heavily involved in the communities that we operate, creating long lasting relationships with our clients. We also have a forward thinking mentality. Adaptability is key to perseverance and growth.
3. When did you start selling Coyote products and have they fulfilled a need with your customers?
We started selling Coyote roughly 12 years ago. As a service first company, we are always looking to partner with the most reliable brands to better serve our customers. Coyote has always been a reputable brand with great value and excellent customer service.
4. What is the most popular Coyote product?
The most popular Coyote product is the built in grill heads, both 36 and 42. Typically with each of those we sell the access doors of the matching width. Additionally, we sell a lot of Coyote undercounter refrigeration, drawer cabinets, pull out trash and outdoor hoods.
|
|
5. Can you tell us a little bit about your partnership with Infinity Homes?
Don’s Appliances handles the indoor and outdoor appliances for Infinity Homes, one of the largest custom home builders in the Pittsburgh area. We spec and typically use Coyote appliances in their outdoor kitchens. Most clients either get the C2C36NG or the C2C42NG and the matching access doors at a minimum. All of their townhomes require an outdoor hood and I usually recommend using Coyote for this as well. Other typical additions include the C3DC drawers, CSTC pull out trash, C1BIR2R refrigeration and additional smaller access doors for underneath sinks. We find Coyote to be an excellent value in terms of providing quality product at a competitive price.
6. Do you see the outdoor kitchen industry as continuing to grow in the next few years?
We do see the outdoor category continuing to grow in the next few years. The pandemic has been somewhat of a catalyst for new trends. Our clients are reinvesting in home spaces as they look for new ways to entertain and fulfill the home lifestyle.
|
|
This past year, the pandemic taught us that families looked to utilize and improve all areas of the home including the outdoor space. Consumers seeking to maximize entertainment space and square footage were at the same time building value in their home. The trend of eating al fresco really took off and the popularity of outdoor kitchens grew exponentially. Coyote Outdoor products that mimic indoor cooking like our state-of-the-art pellet grill and flat top grill, being launched summer 2021, are at the forefront of this trend.
The new Coyote Flat Top Grill brings the capabilities of your indoor cooking appliance, outside. Teppanyaki-style grilling is a versatile way of cooking, perfect for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner. The design of this competitively priced grill allows the juices to remain in contact with the ingredients, resulting in savory, healthy meals.
